How many of you ladies have had a membrane sweep at 37 weeks and gone into labor? my doc is performing one on me Friday…

I had my membrane sweep at 38+5d and went into labor two days later! Had my son at exactly 39w. Omg did my membrane sweep HURT!!!!! But it got the job done I suppose. hahah

I hope so, I was in a car accident and the meds I was on don't work anymore so I sleep only 4 hours during the night (if I'm lucky) and I'm in pain all day. I was suppose to go to Physical Therapy but I missed their call and have called back several times and they never answer their phone :( @sarafaye11

I'm sorry things are rough for you, car accidents are the exact reason I hardly drive but only in my town that I KNOW, major anxiety! Not too long now hopefully! Look at the no sleep this way, it's only preparing you for baby bean!! Haha, wishing you luck! @mightyant314

I use to sleep so good when my meds worked because it took out the pain in my back from the accident but now I lay awake till 1-3am in pain and then have to be up to take my husband to Nd from work all day. My husband is in the military, I was on post and this stupid driver was suppose to yield to traffic and he didn't and he slammed into the front of my car. baby was protected because I have an anterior placenta but it did damage to my back and shoulders. my husband can't even give me a massage because it hurts so bad that I cry just from him gently rubbing lotion on my back when I get really itchy

it was an older man with diabilities. and the military police still haven't finished the case report and the accident happened on the 8th of December... @sarafaye11
