Please tell me I'm not overreacting. My brother in law commented something that I found offensive on one of my baby's pictures. I immediately screen shot it and send it to my fiance. He was pissed. I talked to his mom (I'm staying with my MIL for a week) and her excuse was that it's our fault for not making him the godfather after we promised. He showed so much immaturity and had too many mental issues that is the reason why we chose to not make him the godfather. He was hospitalized for suicide twice in one year. I attached the screen shot. I am so pissed beyond angry. You don't say that about my kids. I never say anything about his kids. What made me more angry is that he had his wife post it on my Facebook comment where everyone can see it. At this point I don't even want them seeing my new born. Please tell me I'm not in the wrong.
I don't think it's "overreacting" ... it's definitely mama bear but not in a bad way. People just need to learn to keep their ignorance to themselves lol 😂
@mrs.carmdi exactly! My first born is very light skinned compared to my newborn. He's darker and has darker hair. I'm just making sure it's not just my momma bear overreacting
Good! I'm glad your fiancé is supportive of you & you're setting your boundaries.
@laliandbaby oh he called him already and I blocked them already
Ugh! Some people are so STUPId and ignorant! I had a family friend that said something stupid like that about my baby and I just snapped my neck and asked what's wrong with her being brown?! You're not in the wrong at all!
I would let your fiancé talk to him . And you could limit what he sees on fb so that he doesn't make those comments . Sorry, that's really frustrating .
@laliandbaby I am pissed. The bad thing is that I'm out here for a week so I got to deal with her. He definitely crossed the line. She tried saying that's how my fiance and him talk. I don't care how they talk you still don't say that about a baby
@mamatocam8516xo exactly. I am so done. It's going to be a long time before my mother in law sees her grandsons as well. She always wants to make up excuses for her crazy ass son. At this point I just want to go back home to Wisconsin and never want to come back to Chicago.
You're not wrong! And his mom is ridiculous for defending that immature and disrespectful behavior .
You don't joke about someone's child. Smh not cool dude
@princesslina exactly! My son is 6 days old. His wife is pregnant if I said anything about they're kid they'd be angry and upset too. He crossed the line even for just joking around.
I would of went ape shit on him... that's not even okay under any circumstances. What an ass. And for him to think that's funny is disturbing. Your not over reacting momma and you have every right to be pissed and not want them to see your newborn. F that nonsense.
what's your facebook I got ya back
