I'm scared Mommies 😢😢😢Last night I noticed Kamilla stopped breathing while she was asleep. And this morning my husband woke up before her and noticed it too. It happened more than once the longest lasting about 5 seconds and the shortest was 2 to 3 seconds. I'm scared shitless! (Excuse my language) My Mom has sleep apnea and was diagnosed about 3 years ago. When Kamilla was born she spent her 1st 5 hours in NICU because she wouldn't breath in her own when they brought her out. Since all doctors appointments have been normal. Blood work;normal. She's small, and sitting in the 17% range. Like any mom I did the worst thing I could and Googled it! Basically all sign are pointing to sleep apnea except for the fact that she isn't fussy or cranky when she's awake. Also it said 10 seconds is considered a sleep gap. And she hasn't made it that long. But it's still scary. Everything linked to sleep apnea also is linked to SIDS. So of course my automatic panic button was hit! She has an appointment on Wednesday with her pediatrician. Please say a praying for us that everything is ok. Seeing your baby stop breathing even for a second is so scary.

Thanks @ash621, I checked out the website. $250 is a bit steep but I honestly don't think I'll be sleeping well with out it either. Definitely something to show my husband and for us to talk with out doctor about. I appreciate you letting me know about this!
@mommyluv, it's amazing. I had actually bought it before my baby was born, but my pediatrician recommended it when her oxygen dropped in the hospital. He was on the team that developed it. It's expensive, but worth every penny. We've only had one false alarm in five months. I still check the app in the middle of the night. It's also one of the reasons we diagnosed my baby's bladder infection in November. It was showing her heart rate was going way too fast, so the nurse told us to take her in right away. I wouldn't sleep at all without it and my husband says the same thing.

I'm sorry you're going through this with both your mom and little one. I'm hoping there's something we can do. I hate when they say,"there's nothing we can do now, we have to wait it out" or " they'll grow out of it by one". No mom wants to hear that. We want answers and to know our children will be ok. I'll pray for your baby and your mom. Stay strong Mommy!

his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
