any of you ladys had problems with your husband or bf not wanting a male doc to deliver the baby ???…

I had a male at first... he was my infertility doctor, was wonderful at high risk and emergency c-sections. I loved him. 16wks into my pregnancy I got mad at the clinic and transfer to another clinic to this female doctor. my husband was more comfortable with the male. I could have continued seeing him because he was contracted out. but I didn't want to go to the other clinic he was at. because they didn't do 4ds ultrasounds. but my husband wanted the male. I think your SO is being silly

I've always had male gynecologists. You don't really get to much of a choice. I didn't even have my own OB deliver my son it was the OB on call. What's the big deal though? He don't want another man seeing your downtown? Your having a baby! Lol he's just going to have to get over it, it's not a big deal in that aspect. Hell my ex ( he was my ex at the time too)saw the baby coming out! I didn't expect that and it made me feel a little weird but whatever.

Nope. The doc you pick to deliver your baby might not even be available and you might end up having to have a male doctor! He should be more concerned with who is the most qualified.

OMG I thought I was the only one who goes through this! my huzzy seriously gets upset if a male doc looks at me. he legit walked out of my first prenatal appt bc the guy doc had to use his fingers to chk the size of my uterus. he actually argued with me on the way home said i disrespected him. idk what the problem is with some guys i think it's insecurity.

I delivered three babies and my favorite OB was a male!! More compassionate!!!

oh man mrs spectaculus thats crazy.. im actually going to a ob witch is a girl and man i just dont feel her at all and i went with her cause of my bf but hes just gonna have go deal with it im going back to my old ob that is male witch i take him more serious .

I have a male doctor. My fiance doesn't care because my doctor is a high risk doctor. I went into premature labor with my daughter & an ectopic pregnancy in May 2016. I am considered high risk.

I have a male doctor and I love him. I mean seriously he is an OB/GYN. This is what he went to school for and he trained for. Ridiculous for any man to ever get upset. My husband is with me at every appointment and said that it doesn't even phase him when the dr has to check my uterus.
