I give my son gerber gentle formula but he has really bad gas and I'm lactose so maybe he is and I want to switch his formulas but I have wic which one do you ladies think is best. I'm a first time mom so I really don't know.

Just tell WIC you need soy based formula. I just switched to gerber soy with WIC. They cover soy milk too when they reach 1 year!

Depends what formula brand your state has. My state is Enfamil so he uses prosobee. I'd call WIC and find out what it is. If it's Gerber then they make a soy kind.

I'm lactose but my kids aren't I used a rice based formula on my babies that fussy and gassy with regular formula...I do believe it enfamil A.R formula
