Mommas, it is SO important to teach your kids life skills. To cook, clean, budget, take care of themselves, auto maintenance, etc. If you don't know these things, then learn them and then pass them down! If your kids are older, learn them together! I wish my parents had; they never taught me these things and when I moved out, I was completely lost. I am making it my ultimate goal to set my daughter up for independence later in life.
