baby registry, I never did it before, when should i? Third baby! & where to register?

If you register with babies r us. They give you a % back on a gift card after the baby is born. It's nice. You get 5% back for the first 300 spent from your registry and 10% back for anything over 300. I can't remember when I started mine. I kept it very up to date and bought things off of it myself. Anything I needed to buy I added to the registry since I would be getting a percentage back. I wasn't going to make one since it was my second but my work and friends wanted me too. Lol

I recommend to start as soon as you can and to research what your needs are. Make sure to have a registry on a store that is convenient for your friends and family. We had buybuybaby and target and many of our friends decided on target because they are just everywhere. An advantage about target is that you get 15% of the things you put on the registry and one time coupon to use it in the store. We used it to buy the car seat and I find many things cheaper at target in comparison to other baby stores.

@firemanswife, I did Babies R Us and Amazon. My baby shower is in a little over two weeks and I've noticed much more purchased off Amazon. I guess because most people use that often, it's just a matter of a few clicks! This is my second and we either had or we purchased the big ticket items so we just put a lot of smaller type items on there - bottles, burp cloths, diapers etc 💙

I made one everywhere (target, babies r us, buy buy baby & amazon) because I got coupons and goodie bags in store everywhere except amazon of course lol.
