I'm 34 weeks with my first baby. I'm getting so nervous his measuring 2 weeks ahead I go tomorrow for a ultrasound to see how big he is. I feel like I'm still no where near ready for him. Any advice anyone can give me to make sure I have everything I need for him.

Did you have a baby shower? that helps. also they have an app called Pregnancy+ I believe is the name and it has a check list that helps too. I hope this helped a bit.

Yes I did bc of the weather not many ppl came. Thank u I'm gonna look that up.

newborns actually require very little, a safe place to sleep, a few outfits/sleepers, couple of blankets to swaddle, diapers and a few washcloths and a mild soap (which the hospital usually gives you sample sizes) to give them sponge baths with, and a car seat to get them home... depending on whether you breastfeed or not, formula and like 2 bottles.... if you have those things... you are golden! Everything else is just extra! I did not have a swing or most of the "extras" when we had our first and it was perfect, not a TON of junk laying around cluttering up our tiny place! We have held onto everything we acquired from our first (because we planned to have another) and I feel overwhelmed and our apartment is bursting at the seams! People kept giving us things that were 'like new' and I realize, it's because the kid will hardly use any of it! 😂 personally I prefer less! No worries, the love and nurturing you will provide your child is all it will need!
