I got it done this pregnancy and found out I am a carrier for cystic fibrosis and spinal muscular atrophy. I'm glad I got it done cause being a carrier is genetic so now I am able to warn my brothers if they plan on having babies they need to make sure the mother isn't a carrier as well

I got genetic testing done, I got the "informaseq" at 12 weeks got my results exactly a week later at 13 weeks, checks for a lot of Down syndrome and gender.
