my lo isnt big on meats or solid food but she does love the purees i make for her...have you tried purees. my lo is currently going through a sleep recession cuz i dont go to be till abt 5 in the morning 😪

NO! girl I have tried everything in the book a million times and he just throws it and shuts his mouth so you can't get anything in it. I've also just made certain things where he can pick it up himself and he puts it up to his mouth then throws it. I've tried it when he hasn't nursed and should be hungry and same thing. I'm not gonna force feed him and everyone seems to think I should be since he won't take anything. I'm just exhausted, I've been doing this for about a year now, I need him to start eating because I need a break dude. I'm so fucking tired right now this is ridiculous. @heera,

Girl....thats fucking INSANEEE!!! But it happens....have you tried nursing him for a few minutes then stopping and giving him some finger food? Kind of give him the idea that he can have both.

Yep! I've tried every method that I know of and it's just not working. He will eat like 2 or 3 veggie straws a day, and maybe half a cracker. But he only likes those things because it feels good on his gums. Sometimes he just spits them out when he has chewed them to mush. He has eaten things before just super inconsistent and very very little, in talking like a bite of chicken cut into four pieces once every couple of months, or maybe 2-5 beans of some sort. Absolutely no puréed food, and hates to be fed with a spoon. He just locks his mouth shut.

In all honesty this is guna sound fucking horrible...but ide say maybe wait until hes hungry and wait two hours before giving him anything...and then breastfeed him...bcuz it doesnt look like your guna have any luck that way...hes 11 months old already he KNOWS your just guna quit eventually once he throws the food enough times and breastfeed him......lol.... at least that way he KNOWS you mean business. And that way you obviously know hes not starving like hes DYINGGG but hes starving like HEYY GIVE ME FOODDDDD!!!!

I'm gonna have to get the nerve up to do that! I give In because I hate the whining 😕 but it's time! I'm surprised his pediatrician hasn't brought it up. She's probably unaware but I wasn't able to bring it up because she was in and out so fast at his sick appointment. His one year appointment is on the 6th so I don't know if I should wait and just try things like what you mentioned in the mean time. @heera, and @concrete, it is! Sometimes it feels like a nightmare lol.

But see, even when I work on Saturdays he won't eat for my parents. I go back to school tomorrow too, so this is not going to be fun 😩

Yeah! He won't take a bottle or a sippy cup and if he does eat it would be like 3-5 bites of apple sauce if you can get him to take it and maybe a few Cheerios or veggie straws. @concrete,
