My 7 year broke my heart tonight. I typically put her to bed and go in a cuddle with her, only if her room is clean, and run her back for about 10-15 minutes at bed time. That's what we do, she's my cuddler. But tonight, like so many nights, she's not having the sleep. She wants to stay up and hold me hostage in her room. She always ends up in my bed at some point in the middle of the night.

Well tonight, she told me "I just want you Mommy. I just want to lay with you and have cuddles". I'm not going back to work until 12 weeks pp and baby won't be here until next week, so there's still plenty of time... and I told her that. And she started to bawl her eyes out over me having to go back to work.(I work nights, 7p-7a). Idk if it's going to be harder leaving her or the baby. But she has been like this for a few weeks and the closer we get to delivery, the more overpowering it's becoming. Even though she's excited to be a big sister, I think she may have some jealousy starting. My poor girl.
