My mom wants to throw it, but as a surprise. I hate surprises!! I want to be able to invite certain people, be ready and things like that. I don't want to look a hot mess for MY shower. Then my boyfriends sister says she wants to help and makes all these big promises I doubt she'll fall through on. So annoying haha @newlywedmama21,
@johanna_b1, the only problem I really have is that I don't want it to be a surprise and that now my boyfriend is suggesting throwing two separate ones. Like that is just EXTRA WORK.
My family wanted two separate ones too! One for friends, one for family. Like no it's hard enough having the energy to get all dressed up and spend a whole day with all of you.
@johanna_b1, like why have two separate ones when we can rent a hall and invite everyone at once. It's definitely not a good idea to me. More money, more work, more stress.
My shower is Jan 22 and that's all the info they told me. 😡 I have not been included in any of the plans. I'm wondering if they even know what kind of cake I like?
