Anyone have any advice on breaking the news to parents? I'm anticipating a negative reaction from them and I've just been putting it off and putting it off (of course the longer I wait the worse telling them will be). I'm already 27 weeks along but I'm not showing too much.

@nkinsey I had thought of maybe sending them something in the mail so they could see the news that way and then we could talk in person once it's out in the open. Unfortunately my husband is away until April so having to do this on my own is also a reason for the delay.

It wasn't bad for me. Just took a matter of time for me to tell her, but I got to scared to do it in person so I texted her. But after the first ultrasound I think she's excited about me having a baby, probably just to say I told u so. My step dad seems more excited that I'm pregnant. I think my mom is just more scared

There's cute ways to tell parents I seen on Facebook. For example if your mom has a bday soon give a gift of newborn shoes

I say just tell them. The sooner the better, your not hiding anything bad. I see it as a blessing and if your happy about this pregnancy I say dont let there reaction bring you down. You show them how important and special this is to you. Don't fear cause pregnancy is a beautiful moment and you need to enjoy it. You must be tiny cause when I was 27w I was huge lol but please be positive about it and just go for it ! Best of luck huns.

Show them how excited it is for you, but please have in mind they might not act the way you expect :/ hopefully they do act exciting. But just have that in mind. Either way I wish you the best and I know how scary it can be specially at this point but you will do great. And yess lol i made a huge belly by the end of my pregnancy I even asked myself If I was having triplets lmao @emily526,
