how is the IUD?

I had the merina and I tested the first 6 mo. I stopped worrying after that

I check every month my doc showed me the strings and how they feel before it was placed

@anmarie1 my doctor did not do that. didn't even tell me to check. i read it online....i went back after a month and had them make sure it was still in place. but i was NEVER shown how to check or what they feel like. so i don't even know if its still there.

I used to check for the strings but after a year or so you tend to forget it's even there
