Discipline question

Many of you saw the picture I posted yesterday of my son in his homemade robot costume. Well, when it came time for trick or treating, he refused to wear it. No tantrums, no crying, just said he didn't want to wear it. We talked to him about it, tried to cajole him into wearing it, nothing worked. So, we went to the harvest festival with him wearing a tshirt and shorts. He had a marvelous time.

Is it just me or am I the only girl that doesn't like getting flowers given to me.? Lol, idk I just think it's pointless, they die anyways. I'd rather get a tshirt, pants, or some new shoes. So I can keep the gift for a long time, just my thoughts, lol.
