I nursed my son until he was 2. And I didn't wanna stop. The only reason I did was I stopped producing. I had a miscarriage and it cued my body to stop producing. Humans were not meant to have cows milk. Its for well....cows. Lol.
@kandidenise1989, exactly and although I don't care if she feels that way I just got upset cause she's insulting other mothers when she herself is a mother. Like how is that a "mental illness" ?
That upsets me when people think in this sort of manner. Breastfeeding is a natural thing and to even put mental illness in the same sentence with it when talking about nursing toddlers is so saddening to me. My son will be 1 next month and he has no intentions of letting go of his milk. I don't breastfeed in public and I don't plan to simply because of people like this. If only they knew the struggle that some mothers go through. I can't get my son to take anything but BOOB. I've tried everything, a million times, and he won't even take bottles or sippy cups so pumping to feed is out of the question for me. I just hate that people are so judgmental. I will continue to be that mom trying to wrestle a 30 lb baby sitting in the handicapped stall trying to balance him on my tiny lap to feed him in a disgusting restroom, because of society.
@babyjjsmommy, sorry you have to go through this. But stand up for self mama and feed your baby no matter where you are. You baby shouldn't be getting fed in a dirty bathroom.
I try to feed him in the car more than a bath room now but I have a 2door so it's extremely crammed. I just hate conflict and if someone were to say something to me about nursing my baby in public I'd lose my shit.. lol. I just try to avoid that situation from happening because I really don't wanna have to slap someone's smart ass mouth. 😅

hmm. I know someone that breastfed their child untill they were 1.5 years old. then pumped and gave it to her in sippys till she was 3 years old.
