They put two tablets inside my cervix to dilate it and I started to dilate fast. After they stripped my membranes and then bloody show and I felt like I had to push for hours but they wouldn't let me. 15 hours in labor. And 45 minutes actually pushing out came Grayson. The IV pain medication and epidural didn't work for my pain.

Well I'm already 3cm & 75% effaced, she said considering how ripe my cervix is she'd start me on antibiotics(tested positive for group B) and on pitocin! I've heard it makes labor so much more painful though 🙁 @syrianqueen22,

The pitocin sucked, was so ready for my epidural when I got it! After that it was smooth sailing 😊

Don't dwell on it. I had no idea what the induction process was until I was going through it. There are worse things that can happen. You'll be fine. It's normal to be scared but it won't be so bad when you hold your little one for the first time. =]

I was scheduled to be induced.... I was having contractions however my water hadn't broke yet! So the doc broke my water, gave me an epidural and 40 mins later my son was born! Sometimes babies just need a little help!

Well I'm hoping to get an epidural! I was going to try to tough it out and see how much I can handle before I ask for it though!! @mommy1987, @theirmommy20, @dpilon0629, @kedrababy, do you ladies think I should ask for epidural first instead?

@tatianagivens, I would ask to have it on hand just in case!! Tell them to warn you when it's last call for it because after a certain time you cannot have it

@tatianagivens, I don't want it but seems like everyone who gets induced has it. Induced labor is said to hurt worse than natural contractions

@tatianagivens, just let them know when you go in. I told them to tell me when it was last call for it ... it's never a problem
