One more question ladies, when did your doctor or hospital schedule your first ultrasound. Why? Because I'm almost 18 weeks pregnant and I was told I have to wait until I reach my 20th week to find out how my little one is doing in there and also the gender, I feel very anxious and a bit annoyed seeing other women learn their baby's gender at 12-17 weeks pregnant and I'm over here happy for them in all but the waiting game is starting to get real old.

My dr is different I had my first one when I thought I was 9 weeks (but baby was measuring small so he put me at 7w 3d) and I'm unsure when my next ultrasound will be..my next appointment is next Wednesday tho and I'm hoping he will do another ultrasound so we can find out the gender!

Each office is different!! However this is my second child and I'm in a completely different state... they too did my first ultrasound at 11 weeks and agin at 18 weeks but I go back the end of the month bc the tech didn't get baby's heart so I'll be 23/24 weeks by then

9 wks- the first time I went in. To confirm pregnancy, etc. I didn't get the gender til around 20 wks tho

Normally they give you a dating ultrasound around 8-9 week, then the anatomy scan around 20 weeks, and then some docs don't do any more and some do a growth ultrasound in the 3rd trimester. That's the norm unless you have a high risk pregnancy or you go to an outside clinic or something.

I think a lot of times when you see girls on here finding out before 18ish weeks it's cause they went to an outside 3D clinic

i found out the gender at 16w .... I had to pay and get a gender reveal done ..
