I was 13 weeks pregnant yesterday and I go back to the doctor on Monday.... I still have not heard the heartbeat and still to this day I have not had really any symptoms.... I am just nervous about everything... we will not have an ultrasound for another 4 weeks... is all this normal.

They have not used a Doppler thing to hear the heartbeat? I'm 10 weeks today, have my appointment in a few hours, my midwife told me at my first appointment for labs that I should be able to hear the heartbeat at my next appointment ... it's sometimes hard at 10 weeks to find it because the uterus is still low... but she said at about 10 weeks they can almost always find it... was your first appointment before 10 weeks?

they have not done anything I was 9w5d when I first went and all she did was check my uterus and they took blood

My dr has done the same I will be 14w next appointment and she is just now going to give me my ultrasound!!

if it makes you feel better my little boy was too active I wasn't able to hear his heartbeat until 17 weeks

They don't really listen for a heartbeat at this time ...
