when did you start potty training? how did you know they were ready? what did you do? how did you keep them to sit on the potty? I have a soon to be 1.5 yr old I think she's showing signs but I'm not sure I don't want to push potty training because I don't want her to resent it you know? any ideas on how to do a very simple and less nerve wrecking way to potty train?

she's used the potty technically twice but once on her own the second time she was pooping in the tub and I was able to catch her before she completely unloaded in the tub and I put her on her potty and that was awful all she did was yell and scream and have a fit she's gone pee in her potty and if I'm in the bathroom she'll sit on her potty and as I typed this she started trying to poop in the tub again I picked her up and put her on the potty after about 3 maybe 4 mins of crying and fighting to sit down I put on the movie on my phone and she sits still but after like 10-15 mins of being on the potty she decides Shes done and didn't poop or pee in the potty@beebaby

I started when my daughter turned 1-1/2 and more or less would introduce the potty. When I went I put her on the potty. But I really started when she woke up from naps dry. She caught on with peeing in the potty but number two took a few more months
I already gave her a bath and while she was in the tub she started trying to poop. she'll sit on the potty by herself with clothes on. how did you make it a huge celebration?@beebaby
