thanks, it was our 7th year dating anniversary and this September will be 2 years married

did you all have a big wedding or something smaller? I know I don't want anything big, but only because I know we need to save anyway and there won't be many people there. @dawnrose

Yeah we've discussed renting out part of the courthouse for like $500 but not sure yet what we're doing. I can't remember what he said it was called that we would be renting out? 🤔 @dawnrose

it was small, it was in the backyard of my best friend's mom's house she has such a beautiful yard lol there was 7 of us there. I feel a marriage is a very personal thing and not a show... so I did not want to put on a show for anyone I got the wedding I've always wanted LOL

that's how I feel it should be too. look at all the money saved, and I don't want to put on a show either. I'm glad he thinks the same as me. I'm inviting my closest family, but if they don't come .. oh well. they live all the way down in Kentucky and only two of my family members have ever came to visit. we always have to come down there. so if they miss it in june, that's on them. @dawnrose

I'm from South Dakota and my husband's from Georgia. he didn't propose it was a conversation LOL he said do you think we should get married? and I said yeah he said when? I told him on our dating anniversary. he was like that is in 10 days LOL. I said so what it'll be fun. he told his family and they couldn't make it. I didn't tell me until after we got married only because it wouldn't be fair for him to have no family there and all of my family there. neither of our families were surprised though LOL we've been together for so long

we had originally discussed getting married this november, but that was also when we were talking about getting married down in Kentucky so my family could come. I decided to not make that extra effort, when they haven't made any to come up here. I asked him today if we should push up the date, and he agreed. so I mentioned our 2 year anniversary and he agreed. 😂 @dawnrose
