I seriously hate when moms suggest to breastfeeding moms to use formula. No. Y'all are not lactation consultants so you should not be telling a mom she needs to supplement or anything like that, that can really mess up her supply. If a lactation consultant believes she should supplement she will tell her so but that should always be a last resort type of thing.
