How's he doing with other things? Sitting up? Crawling? Attempting to self feed?

Sitting up fine and self feeding fine for the most part, but he doesn't eat food really. I've tried everything he's exclusively breastfed and won't take a bottle or sippy. He doesn't crawl, pull himself to stand, walk, etc. she said he's lacking some core and back strength and he doesn't use his left leg as much as the right. He also doesn't hold on to me when I'm carrying him even if he is about to fall he won't cling to me with his legs, but she didn't address that today so I'm going to bring it back up tomorrow morning when we go. @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom,

Awesome job on continuing breastfeeding by the way. Some babies like to take their time with their development. Don't let it bother you. Your kiddo knows what's best for him. I'm glad he's seeing a PT. That's great that he's getting help so early on. He'll get it though. It'll take time but you're doing what you can and you're doing a great job of it. 😘👍🏼

Thank you love! I'm glad too, but I do hope he starts eating table food soon! Lol. Yeah, his pedi is amazing, she referred us back in December because she listened to my concerns and knew that it was a good idea to get a little help. My oldest son was slow on walking. Babies move at their own pace. I was 17 when I had my 1st and lived at home with my mom still. My younger siblings were in elementary at the time so he was constantly getting held.

Your doing a great job with making sure he's on track. Stay consistent with PT and he'll be fine.

I'm not trying to scare you, but please listen. @babyjjsmommy, my friend had similar issues. He wasn't using one arm andleg like he should. He was behind on mobility. Turns out, he had a stroke in the womb. My friend's son also had an enlarged ventricle in his brain. His head was larger than normal. There was a lot of fluid in the brain and they had to drain it. He went to physical therapy twice a week (just for one limb) for almost an entire year. After that and surgeries he pulled out of it. He is now 3 and can finally walk and play. The doctors did say he may be a little slow with learning, but so far no problems. If they didn't catch it when they did, it could cause serious issues. Again, not trying to scare you!!

It could be he is just a late bloomer, but I'd definitely check out other reasons.

He wouldn't open and close his fist (like to pick up a toy he would punch it). He would try to crawl, but he wouldn't use one leg (like he didn't know he had it). He was about a year old when they found out.

The physical therapist my friend went to were awesome! Very friendly environment! They had what looked like an indoor jungle gym. I went with her a few times, no one who worked there wore shoes lol everyone had bright colored socks!
