I read this article earlier about SIDS and I just didn't agree with a lot of what they said. Atleast for my child. Some things seemed a bit out there like not breastfeeding your child.. Every baby is different and progresses at their own level so yes some of these things could very well be dangerous for ones child. I think they literally just throw everything out there because it's such a vague thing and they really are unclear on what causes it so they need to list everything to cover their asses just incase. But that doesn't help a parent, it just makes them worry even more about everything. I am a first time mom and I to worry about SIDS like most parents of a newborn/infant. But I also follow my own mommy instinct on things in what's good for my child. I know him and I know me and I trust that he would be ok in certain situations based on his development and strength etc.
