Help! I've always had supply issues and only can pump a few ounces at a time. Through the holidays and traveling and stress I wasn't able to pump as much! Now I'm not producing jack squat! I drink mothers milk and pump when I can. It's hard when I'm home alone. My LO doesn't want to be set down ever. Help! I need tips and tricks to get my supply back up. My girl is breastfed and supplemented due to supply issues but I am not okay with drying up and not producing any milk for her.

Thank you in advance! 💕🙌🏽

are you pumping only or nursing the baby? If you're nursing, remember that anything you pump is considered extra. The average woman can expect to pump between 1 to 4 oz total. To increase your supply you can google power pumping. Increase water intake, steel cut oatmeal, flax seed, chia seed.....those are some power foods.

I'm in the same boat. I'm lucky to get over 2 oz total and I pump every 3 hours. I was getting more before the holidays. But like you, I didn't pump enough. My son eats about 120ml every 3.5 hours. He is in the nicu so I know it's going to effect my supply a lot so I'm hoping when he comes home, I'll produce more. I'll probably pump for a month after he comes home no matter what and then make the decision on whether I'm continuing or not. Try power pumping. I do understand the being alone part making it super hard to pump too. I wish you luck.
