About a quarter of a teaspoon, look it up! It actually works as a pin reliever and laxative at that age, their brains don't react to sugar the way our do yet! When my son was circumcised they actually gave it to him to put him to sleep naturally lol

I'll probably get yelled at for this, BUT my son was the same and I gave him about 1/2 ounce of water with sugar in it, and bam pooped 20 mins later, my pediatrician told me to do it, and I'm telling oh it worked for me.

The first few weeks of some babies digestive track are the worse, I hope she goes soon, it sucks when they end up in pain 😢

if your baby is breastfed, it is quite normal, even up to a week.
