My boyfriend and I came back home yesterday from a weekend out of town. When we got home we realized our carpets were soaked and found a leak in our boiler room that was just fixed a few months ago by maintenance. My daughters books and half her toys are ruined. My house smells so bad. We had to pack up our stuff and go to my mothers & we literally paid rent just before we left on Friday morning. My leasing office claimed they fixed it. Has anyone gone through something like this and been able to get out of your lease ?
