do I have to legally put my baby's father on the birth certificate? we are not together an he hasn't stepped up or done anything for the baby or myself. I would be willing to add it on later if he chose to step up. but I dont see the point if he's more concerned with his own life than his daughters .

You're the mother. You don't have to do anything you don't want to. I chose not to put my baby's father on his bc. And now I'm glad he didn't. Cause he doesn't do much for my son anyways.

Nope not at all I'm not putting mines on there when I have my babygirl because he isn't doing anything now I'm due in 2 weeks and he hasn't brought anything doesn't call anymore or check up nothing . and I'm giving my babygirl my last name !! Now if and when she gets here and he's actually being a REAL DAD !! Il put him on there but not if he's barely around !!

not at the hospital but he can take you to court and request paternity test and be added and change the last name but he'd have to file papers and everything
