I do! Started using them part time when he was almost a week old. I like them so far. I prefer prefolds and covers for newborns. Im still trying out different kinds for after newborn stage. For newborn diapers covers I liked the blueberry Capri best but I really liked my Rumparooz, thirsties size 1, and imagine covers too. My favorite AI2s have been the Lalabye baby diapers. I just wish they had double leg gussets. I could use them from the time he came home and they are fairly trim for a one size diaper I think. Best bottoms are good too for a newborn.
@clothdiapermomma, @babybue16 (sorry i didn't see your comment earlier), I have been learning about cloth diapering. I think i like the 2 in 1s best so far. Haven't personally used none but they seem to be a good one to start with.
@mooneyynk, the AI2s are my favorite so far. My Lalabye Baby and lil helper diapers have fabric on the inside so I only get to use them once before washing unless I catch it as soon as he goes. Lalabye baby does have a pocket too that you can add absorbency too or stuff the inserts into and I love the color coded snaps. Best bottoms doesn't have fabric inside so you can wipe clean and reuse. I think being able to reuse it especially with how often my baby goes. I got 4 changes out of it yesterday and could have went more. Also with AI2s you don't have to buy the inserts that match the diaper. You can buy cheaper ones or use them like covers over prefolds, flats or fitteds. I actually just bought some cheap sun baby diapers that I'm still waiting on and I could some okieB diapers to try too. What I would recommend doing is buying one of each type and also several brands to try that way you will find out what you like and what fits your baby best. For inserts, I like the bamboo a lot for all the time use and hemp when i think he needs extra absorbency. I don't own any microfiber because you can't put it against babies skin and they aren't as absorbent. My lil helper order came with extra inserts as a "gift" and I've liked their inserts so far. For washing, I use [HE powder] tide too. I just throw everything in the pail into the washer with the pail liner, do a quick cycle on cold w/o soap and once that ends I add all the baby cloths to the load so it's 3/4 full and wash on normal cycle with tide to line 3 or so of the scoop. It's been easy so far. This was specific for my washer but if you go to Fluff love university's website you can find one that's specific to your washer and modify if needed. For drying I just put everything in the dryer that doesn't have elastic and dry on low with wool balls. Anything with elastic gets hung up but that can really all go in the dryer according to their washing instructions except for 1. When I start getting stains, I'll start sunning things dry to remove stains but I haven't had to deal with that yet.
