Ftm.. Hubby wanted to install the car seat base today, which we never done before... can anyone tell me if it looks correct?

Are you able to move the base ?? If so then it's not installed correctly. You can also have it checked at your nearest hospital they do car seat inspections for parents

Yeah if you're not sure the fire department will check it for free if it's not in correctly they will fix it all for free

Fire department says they will not check it. already asked. it doesn't move at all. and the anchor is up above and I felt that was a weird place to anchor down

@mswedes what red strap? There's a red plastic piece but no strap

Yeah the seat belt goes under that plastic piece. That red plastic piece secures the seat belt
