well I'm 23. Just had my first genetic baby but I have an older daughter. I got in her life when she was about 1 1/2. Raising her is fun and girls keep you on your toes. You will do great. Motherhood isn't easy especially to a new babe but it is so worth every moment. Every labor is different and who you have on your team and in your room with you will change your whole experience. As for breast feeding. I love it! Its bonding, loving and it just makes me feel good and happy. Though it isnt easy for everyone and thats okay. You two will get the hang of it. If for some reason you end up unable no worries. The most important thing is that your little girl has a full belly. Best wishes to you and yours

Thank you @thebabesarelife, that was really helpful. I'm only 17 weeks and 5 days and I'm already beyond excited and nervous. Definitely trying to get as much information as possible and I have a great support system so I'm hoping they'll make labor a lot easier.

@darshay012, that's great because on some of the other sites I have seen a lot of women who are judgmental and that's one thing that no mother needs.

I'm a young mom too, I'm also married as well. I got married and pregnant when I was 18 then had my daughter, Emma, when I was 19 and I'm now 20. No negative comments here. I hate people that think you can't be a good mom just because you are young, they also say your life is over but in my eyes it's just beginning. My child is my life now. I love her with all that I am. Yeah things are a little rough and we were prepared in the slightest but no one ever really is.

Aww, I love that you're married! That's great and you're young. I have a friend who had a child young and got married as well. Pretty similar story. She's a great mom. I'm so excited for her to get here so that I can experience everything.

I had my daughter at 19 and I was married at 18. It's a learning experience but little girls are so much fun to raise. My advice is to take it one day at a time when your little girl first gets here. You'll be a zombie but with each passing day you'll get a routine down and master so much things during parenthood.

And raising little girls are fun when in labor speak up for yourself if they are doing things wrong tell them that's where I went wrong I didn't like how a nurse was treating me but I didn't say anything about it

Just stay strong on here no negativity it's only in the real world you will but ignore it be the best mom you can for you little one and enjoy her little don't worry what others think or say

See I'm a really nice person so I'm hoping that I can stand up for myself during labor lol my biggest concern is family. I don't want anyone like trying to just take her from me. I want to hold her for a second first. Haha and I really just hope I like all of my nurses. Not really liking my doctor so far though.
