Is it wrong of me to rather my boyfriend's mom to not buy our daughter anything if she's buying it from the Dollar Tree? Its just that I rather know that her toys are safe and quality made. I had to throw away a teether she bought her for Christmas because it had sharp studs all over it (so sharp one cut my finger).

No, not at all. Those toys from there break in less then a minute after buying them..

@_stephanie.g Exactly my point! I don't want it breaking in her mouth or anything. Plus if they can afford to buy my boyfriend's other daughter a bike and a $30 stuffed minion they can get better for my daughter.

My kids got some legos for Christmas & I felt bad but I had to throw them away just because they left little pieces behind & I'll soon will have a crawler & I don't want him to end up finding one of those pieces & chocking on them.. I would let her how you feel & she should understand even tho I know grandmothers from the opposite side always feel the need to get offended but she should understand.. @ravens_mommy,

@_stephanie.g I spoke to my boyfriend about it and he just kept saying that she didn't know what to get her that if she knew what Raven (my daughter) liked she would buy more.
