poor Carson hasn't gained a single ounce since leaving the hospital :( anyone else's baby take awhile to gain weight back to their birth weight?
I love that it's chilly out though! I can put him in his cute fleece bear sleeper!!!! I can't with the bear ears on the hood

Only 4 days old? Still early love! My little one was 7lbs when born went down to 6.5 for a little and didn't get to 7.2 until 2 weeks later, don't worry :)

@anmlopez. my pediatrician is just stressing me out that's all I suppose I have been here every single day since he was born to weigh him.

@jadedplumeria, omg that's too much. Mine gave us a week to try to get him back up. He said its completely normal, you poor thing. If you don't mind me asking do you breastfeed or formula?

@anmlopez. that's how I feel like I haven't even begun to adjust to mom hood and they are having me come back and scaring me about underweight babies. I'm doing a mix of both mainly breast now though

@jadedplumeria, and my ped said that's even more normal for breastfed babies don't let it stress you out because I let it stress me out on top of my babe having jaundice so I pumped him with formula and that hurt my supply a lot. Now I know for next time to go with my gut and as long as the baby is acting fine not to worry. This one girl I knew was exclusively breastfeeding and when she took him to the 2 month appt he didn't gain a lb since birth and discovered her milk had no fat or something in it so I mean going 2 months without gaining any weight and he's fine compared to 4 days... you're doing a great job don't let it get to you!
