Ok moms - Help! I was experiencing what I considered a few Braxton Hicks contractions and then all of a sudden the pain was super intense and unbearable. I had to wake my husband up, was literally screaming crying in pain- it even hurt to breathe. Then it got even worse for maybe 30 seconds and then the pain went away. The pain was all upper abdomen, under my breast right at the top of my stomach. I had gallbladder attacks with my daughter and it was VERY similar to that- however I no longer have a gallbladder because it was removed after she was born. What in the world could this have been ?? We were giving it a few more mins and then we would have been out the door - I am SO thankful it stopped because OMG!

Braxton Hicks is usually tightening with pressure this contractions are usually felt at the top of the uterus. If you were having a contraction you would feel it in your lower belly going around your lower back. I don't know if you knew this but even if you have your gallbladder removed some people still experience the pain of a gallbladder attack. I'm thinking that's what it was.

Maybe gas or constipation because this has happened to me a few times.

My gallbladder has been gone for 2 years and I still get attacks especially now mine was infected and had to have emergency surgery and that's how my pain was.
