When did people start weaning. Health visitor and doctors keep saying at 6 months. But family and friends keep saying to do it soon. I'm so confused when to start π

Guidelines say 6months but definiately not before 17weeks or 4months. Baby will show signs when ready, their all different. I had family asking why I hadn't started weaning Morgan. He was perfectly happy on his milk so there was no need. Max on the other hand was wanting food a bit earlier haha I started 6months with Morgan & 4 1/2months with Max.

My boy is 3 months tomorrow and he's had purΓ©e carrots and porridge but he was feeding like 7oz every hour and was constantly hungry! And the hungry milk made him poorly but he's been fine so far! But you'll know when they are ready! Every baby is different @mares1993, xx
