If your lil one has slept through and missed 3am ish feed but it's only nearly 5am what would you do, give them a few oz and put back to bed or just get up and give it as full normal feed ? She usually feeds at 3ish then wakes and wants to be up at 6ish but doesn't want bottle till 7/8 sometimes, ideas?

I always give a normal feed no matter what time Max wakes. If he wakes up early then I'll put him back to bed. If he wakes 6ish we go downstairs as he's usually had enough of his crib by then lol

@sara-lou, aw Hun she slept through. I popped her dummy back in and she's slept till 6ish there!! Just having a bottle now lol proud as punch bless her!

I think it probably depends on each child. My little one stopped waking up during the night for his feed even if I tried to feed him he wouldn't have it. So then I would just let him sleep through. He'd wake up around 8am for his feed and finish it without any fuss. I got advised by some saying if they don't wake up for it then let them sleep through till they want the feed. Naturally he wakes up whenever he's hungry. I was also told that it gets them into a routine of sleeping through the night. Hope whatever you choose to do works out for you and Babba 🙃

@mullika91, thanks Hun, I spoke too soon, if you see my other post this morning with pic, she slept through lol she stirred at 4.20am I popped dummy in and she slept till 6am!! Can't believe it lol

Awww that's amazing! My sons the exact same sometimes they don't want a feed they just want the comfort of their soother. Hopefully she'll get into a nice routine xx
