I agree with you about protecting your child, just please remember that deadbeat dads have to start somewhere when they finally want to come around and be involved. Try to decide when and how to allow him to start some kind of visiting. I have two kids from an ex husband and for 5 years he basically has seen them very seldom and honestly he doesn't even know them anymore. I wish he cared more to see them.... and on another note, I work for a judge and usually they don't give a shit about messages and that's if he even knows how to legally enter it into evidence 😁
