My baby just broke down crying when I dropped him off at daycare just now 😩 he never acts like that 😢

@cheerio777, I know the owners and they're amazing women they wouldn't let anything happen to him but even this morning when I got him out of bed he didn't want me to put him down or put his clothes on or even put mine on 😂

he might need play therapy

my kiddo is 14 months old and does this almost every day. it's a normal developmental thing. they understand now that you exist when you aren't around them and they don't like that

@lenabear, that's the thing, he's been at this daycare since he was 3 months and most days he gets down out of my arms or walks in himself and goes about his business lol he won't even say bye to me some days and this morning he was just acting so clingy

have you checked out the wonder weeks? that app does a great job in explaining behavior that doesn't seem normal or has changed. but I know separation anxiety is pretty normal once they hit about a year old
