Just found out that the reason my sister decided not to breastfeed is because she thought it would make her daughter gay....1. Thats not how that works at all. 2. Why would it matter if she was? I asked her why it would matter if her daughter turned out to be gay and she gave me a disgusted look like I shouldnt even question why shed be upset. She then went on to say that if her daughter ever admitted to liking women she would throw her out or leave her to be raised by her father because she "cant deal with that". I dont understand people who think like that. I dont care if Henry ends up straight, gay, bisexual, transgender, asexual, or anything else. That is my baby! And i will love him no matter what sexuality or gender he chooses to be, whether i understand his choices or not. My job as a mother is to raise him to know that he is always loved no matter what. I just cant see how you could stop loving your child just because of their sexuality. It sickens me to know that some people are so narrow minded that they cant accept their own children because of trivial bullshit like this. It doesnt matter as long as your child is loved and happy. Its about them, not you. Get over it.
