If it makes you feel anything less than the amazing woman you are then you need to rethink your situation, maybe talk to a therapist about your feelings maybe do couples therapy... sometimes men don't "hear" our pain and frustration even through our tears. Someone's having someone else point it out to them and putting them in our shoes makes them see
