Same :( I'm at least going to keep it in until my next check up (6 months from now) because it says it can make your periods a lot worse for 3-6 months but after a year of having it most women don't have periods at all. I don't think most women make it that far tho @vamommy89

I'm really sorry that happened to you. Nobody deserves to be pressured. It sounds like you need a new dr and no better time to find one. You can get it removed if you don't like how it works for you.

I had the mirena the full 5 years and I will get it again when my daughter is born. I had no periods and it alleviated my migraines. I never felt a thing. The first day was painful with cramps but I heard it's smoother right after birth bc everything is still open. Taking it out is also a breeze if you want to go that route. I didn't have any negative side effects.

No problem! My sister in law and best friend had it as well with no complications. We all conceived within 6 months to a year after removal (if you want more kids)
