I need to VENT!!
So today's Dr's apt was not what I expected. 1st she was mad bc my original Dr wanted to induced me last week at 2cm only bc he was going to be vacation. 2nd she had to restrip my membranes bc apparently my Dr didn't do it right.. since I haven't dilated more. Also I have been having painless contractions this whole time yet my Dr said it was BH.
I don't know what I'm more upset about.. that my dr wanted to induce me so early (forced labor is what it would of been, since he didn't do anything right) or that he told me I'm having BH instead of contractions.. and me thinking this whole time something wasn't right (how does he not know the difference) or that i still dont have my bby boy with me...
She also said that my cervix wasn't even passed my baby's head.. what does that mean?

That sucks ... and it means your cervix is still high so your not effaced

I don't agree with inducing, but painless contractions are BH. It's just practice. Real contractions would make your cervix change. & that your cervix is still really high. Sounds like baby is extremely comfy mama!

Apparently last Monday I was 2cm and 75% thinned or effaced. I'm still 2cm.. she didn't tell me how effaced I was. @chaylalove
@korahleah_11 See that's what I thought but this Dr she put me on the monitor bc I explained to her that I honestly haven't had a contraction due to what the other Dr said.. and well apparently I'm one of the lucky ones (as she puts it) that feel no pain for the beginning contractions. I've been having them for 2 weeks now.
@allyk.xmommy Both of these Dr's work in the same office for the same medical group. Everyone I talked to recommend me the lady dr.. but she wasn't excepting any new patients due in Dec due to being over the limit of patients she could have. And the next Dr they recommend me, I was able to see until 2 months later.. and by that time I would of been 5 months through my pregnancy.
I did tell the nurse if I had any questions if I could still call her even if I was with the other dr..

I would definently ask to complain and see if you can switch due to negligence.

My Dr also had told me if and when my water breaks.. if I'm not having contractions 5 mins apart or less not to go to l&d bc they would send me home.. I'm pretty sure it's the opposite. This Dr told me that he was crazy that if my water breaks come in whether or not I'm having contractions since I'm past my due date.

@dreamermom @allyk.xmommy I wish I could switch.. but the nurse did give me her number just in case something didn't sound right from the other dr.. Both of these Dr are literally in the same office, and i get it everyone has a different way of seeing things and working but this is just so wrong.

my office has 5 obgyns. it's awful. I'm glad i have mine. she is amazing. but when she is absent, i have to deal with one of the other ones and they r awful

I was one of the lucky ones also. I was having real contractions and didn't have pain. I didn't experience any sort of pain until I was 10 cm and my water broke. Thank goodness they kept me in the hospital. I wouldn't have known I was in labor until it was too late.
