Hey mommas ! I know plenty will have negative comments to this post, but go ahead and keep those to yourselves, thanks 😊 now on with it! My honey and I are traveling to Las Vegas this weekend, which is a 9 hour drive for us. I will be 33 weeks pregnant at the time. Any tips and tricks from those of you who have traveled long distances while preggers ? Thanks dolls 😊

shouldn't be a problem just will habe to take lots of stops to pee and strecth so it will probably be more like an 11 hour trip

Stop frequently to stretch your legs. It will help prevent your feet and ankles to get swollen. Elevate your feet when you get to Las Vegas or while your in the car. Also bring snacks, pillow and blanket so your comfy. I traveled from GA to WA while pregnant. I didn't stop enough while traveling and my feet were so swollen it was bad.

Which route are you going? If you travel up to higher altitudes you risk going into preterm labor. There was a lady in the nicu with me that traveled from the bay up to tahoe and went into preterm labor. Altitude change does weird things to pregnant women if they're not used to it. If you can find a route that doesn't have a high altitude change I would think you'd be okay.

Drink lots of water and take as many stops as you need. And when you get there it's okay to not wear heels lol

I am definitely prepared to make it an all day drive trip 😋 @momofdeuce,
Awesome! We bought a bunch of groceries for the trip, and I'll be sleeping most of the time since we're leaving at night 😊 @babynessa,
We're going from the Bay Area to LA to Las Vegas. My honey's sister did the same trip at 8 months and she said that was easiest on her. Thank you for the tip! @kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom,
I ruled my favorite pair of 3 inch heels off my packing list 😭 so sad but this momma doesn't need to fall 😂 @j.desantiag09,

I traveled 6 hours to Yosemite when I was 30 weeks pregnant and was fine! It was just VERY uncomfortable and I had to stop a lot so I could get out and stretch. Other than that just make sure you have lots of food and water and you'll be fine :)
