she said that her doc told her to make sure she stopped a month before birth but I can't see a doc saying that.

For some people it helps with the nausea. Don't think of me badly, but the first 4months of my pregnancy I was very sick, I couldn't eat anything, I couldn't keep anything down, unless I smoked. I lost a total of 45 pounds during my pregnancy. It helped with the nausea. I stopped smoking when I wasn't sick anymore & that was at 5 months. My doc recommended I do what's best to make sure I can eat, she didn't look poorly on me for smoking because I could eat. & give my baby the nutrients.

she can seriously harm her baby and has possibly brought danger to her health. smoking cigarettes let alone pot is TERRIBLE when pregnant. it is not even good for you when you are not pregnant, so what would make her think that it is okay while carrying a baby in you. it is defiantly not okay to smoke pot and I hope everything is okay with the baby. but she will have that baby taken from her if they find pot in her system. she should have stopped the moment she found out she was pregnant.

my SO aunt smoked her entire pregnancy and baby girl was fine. I think it's more of a legality thing. Now if she was in DC or somewhere it was legal, it wouldn't be much of an issue

IF they test her and/or baby and it comes back positive, they will open a cps case. The case worker will visit in the hospital and make sure everything is ready for the baby.

If the case worker proves she is unfit they will take the baby. If she has no proof or is trying to build a case, she'll drag the process out.

no one should be having a baby if they are going to put it at risk for health problems. that's just selfish of them and the baby should be taken away.

umm that girl is wrong. i smoked till 4 months with both pregnancies for sickness and my dr knew my boys are PERFECT. Even if you stop at a certain point thc stays in your placenta i got tested in the hospital and no cps was called as long as your dr knows wassup then your fine. as for it being harmful ive smoked weed for 10+ years and im healthy and SMART lmao not once been in any accident while high or anything. so whatever info youve "witnessed" was probably someone on some meth or something. @peanutsmomma2b wasn't trying to start an argument. just wanted to inform you that I know people who do have health problems because of it. but there are some people that do not have any problems at all. when smoking you are just putting your baby in harms way is all. it all depends on the person and their situation really. anything can cause health problems. but hopefully the baby will be okay.
