How long do babies fit in newborn clothes or is it better to get 0-3 months?

mine fit in NB for about a month in a half..she was 7lbs at birth, and lost a little weight but weighed 8 lbs at a month.

Same exact situation as @heatherlg88. Just packed up all his newborn clothes & put in number 1 diapers about 1-2 weeks ago

my son was born at 8lbs 22inches long. nb clothes fit for 2 1/2 weeks then it was 0-3 month and size 1 diapers. it all depends on the size of ur baby

get a few preemie a few nb

u never know if u have the baby early or if your baby is big get alot of 0-3 alot of 3-6 just shop little by little it will add up carters is always on sale 😊

I would just get a couple newborn sleep & play outfits if you want some newborn clothes to bring to the hospital. Gerber 0-3 clothes are great because they run small so they are good for newborns too. Mine grew out of Gerber 0-3 at 1 month and but is still wearing other brands in 0-3. He was out of newborns after a couple weeks but he could have worn 0-3 Gerber or other brands from the beginning and been fine. He was 8 lbs 10oz at birth so not tiny. Just keep in mind you may have the baby mostly in diapers at first so you won't need many newborn clothes unless you have a small baby. Gowns, sleep sacks and big muslin swaddle blankets have been my favorite things for a newborn.

My daughter was in newborn til 6 weeks. She was born 7 pounds 8ounces
