Stepson always has a bad cold after staying at his mom's house
My stepson ALWAYS has a bad cold/cough after spending time at his mom's house, like WTF?!? It's never a time this boy is completely healthy. I've always encouraged him to wash his hands more often, keep his hands out of his mouth, etc. All I can think about is germs being around Kingston. I have to sanitize everything! We don't get sick in my household. 😷😬
Anyone else have this problem with their stepchildren?

Is she keeping the house too cold or not having him dress warmly enough? Does she smoke around him?

Does she smoke? Have animals? Maybe have her check the house for mold

He does! However, they have dogs and their house is not all that "clean" if you know what I mean. I have air purifiers in my home that helps with his allergies but I can't control how they live over there . @beebaby,

No, no smoke in the household @chelseaepley, He's not allergic to dogs to my knowledge but it is possible. I think that the constant colds are due to uncleanliness, spreading of germs and some allergy related issues like dust, etc. @beebaby, @sgrant30, I try to make my home environment and air as clean as possible because I have allergies as well. We use humidifiers and air purifiers and no outdoor shoes are worn inside the house.
