Been in preterm labor since 25 weeks just got my first positive fetal fibronectin test yesterday they say 65 percent chance Ill deliver within the next 1-3 weeks so he will be 33-35 weeks even. In three weeks. Gave me steroids for his lungs as well as turbutilin to vault contractions which hasn't worked. Not dilated at all got checked which hurt so bad just wondering if anyone has similar stories when you actually delivered after a positive ffn and even just preemies around the 33-35 week age how long were they in nicu and such with any problems?

I was in preterm labor since 21 weeks dilated and a thinned cervix got a pessary put in got checked weekly I was ok and once 34 weeks hit I was 6cm dilated bulging bag and my baby flipped feet down the day I turned 35 weeks and I had to have a c section . She was fine a bit under weight at 4lbs we stayed in the NICU for about a month

Alright thank you I'm just really hope omg he doesn't have to stay in nicu long I wanna be able to be as involved as I can but I have my 2 year old so it's gonna be hard I figure to get up there and care for him

My daughter was born 33w2d, had the steroid shots 2 days before her delivery... she stayed in the hospital for 13 days... at 10 days they had basically ran out of reasons to keep her, just had to get her weight up so she was big enough for the car seat! 😁 I heard that girls do better in the NICU than boys typically... she was a fighter from the beginning!
