i never depend on baby showers. i didn't have one for my first two kids. I always bought what I needed soon as i found out the sex and I know how my family was lol... A good friend of mines throw one for us and out of all the ppl that RSVP now where near did that amount of ppl show up. But once again we had already bought what we need if we got double we returned what we bought.

give yourself a shower and invite them!! someone will be willing to help!

Depending on where you live I have baby boy clothes never worn or only worn a couple times or used clothes for sale.

i threw myself one on a low budget. no one was gonna throw one for me so I did it myself!

I feel you! my own family didn't make me one... my MIL had a small one for us & we didn't get much... I had to get on Facebook on a group that gives away free things... thanks to that or my son wouldn't have much & not much help from my baby's dad... who quit his job weeks before my son was born 😒... you'll be ok!

I have everything I need. I wasn't saying this to sound entitled to a shower or that I needed one. It just would have been nice to have family show they care for once. It would also be nice to hear people being thankful for getting one rather than complaining that they did. Shit. Be thankful you have family that cares enough to put out the effort.
