Saturday night we were told our house was broken into. Our 2 tvs (one which was brand new), our laptops ( also new), and almost $300 worth of jewelry came up missing. We filed a report and left it at that. This morning I walk into my roommates room ( 30 yr old man, whom is autistic, and claims disability) and there were several needles laying about his room. He then admitted he told his drug dealer that he could take anything in the house as long as he got heroin for a month. His dealer agreed and came and took what he wanted while our roommate went on to trash the house to make it look like an actual robbery. We spent all night cleaning and all day Christmas cleaning. Today I told him he needs to find somewhere else to live. He will never be allowed in my house again. Our locks are being change and I'm putting locks on the windows and bedrooms. Autistic or not he knew what he was doing was wrong and had been doing this for over 6mo now. He tried to apologize after it was already too late. He caused my husband and his friend to have a falling out because he swore up and down that's who's vehicle was parked outside. I have already called the police and they are picking up his dealer as we speak (dealer lives across the street ( known for selling drugs and has become close with roommate) ). And also notified roommates PO of the situation and he will be getting picked up shortly. I may be in the wrong but not only did he violate his probation, he has been stealing, and put my family in danger. He needs to be punished for hurting the only people who were wiling to help him.
