Baby girl Christmas is not about gifts your child has you and your fiancé to show him love and that's what Christmas is all about remember he is little he doesn't need much all he needs is love and for you guys to play with him and teach him!!

@mrs.n2014 thank you. I guess it's just the mommy guilt. We could afford to get him more we just didn't think it mattered.

Don't feel bad!! That's the perfect amount of gifts. He'll barely remember it if at all. You being a great mother is a gift in itself beautiful

Girl you are OK, at least you both are there for him, don't let pictures in social media get to you. My neighbor got her kids tons of presents , by that I mean TONS!!! And the boy came over he's around 14 and he gave is presents for us and I told him "thank you but I can't afford to get y'all any but you know you are welcome here at my home anytime" and he said "thanks I wish my mom would return everything and actually spend time with me like you do " 😩😩😩

@madukes @princesslina @zuly2312 thank you ladies ❤ I don't understand why they would do that I guess just to show off and make others look bad. I didn't want him getting overwhelmed. I can't imagine how those poor kids felt opening hundreds of gifts on Christmas.

Excatly! Look I didn't get my sona much either. My youngest he's 2. My mother in law gave him a tablet (which he will never use because I hate those things) and his uncle gave him a set of McQueen toothbrushes. Guess what he got super excited for? The toothbrushes! he carries them all over the place, while he stupid tablet sits there.

I think we go entirely overboard with gifts. We do it for self gain instead of thinkin of the person getting them. Um not big on gifts really but my personal opinion is anything more than 2 or 3 is too much for anyone. Shoot some kids like the wrapping paper better than the gifts and only play with the gifts b/c the paper is thrown away.
